Weekly photo blog – At the crossroad in Times Square in NYC

ratimes

This week’s blog picture is from Times Square in New York.

I spent some hours in Times Square around 2 years ago during the evening the first time. I was standing there, breathing in all this madness. The colours, the powerful energy and many people from all over the world coming there for their marriage kisses or pictures or just to tick it off from their bucket list. Continue reading

This weeks photo blog – message from the turtle

turtleI had another amazing kayaking yesterday. It was a bit different than usual. There was so much more activity in the water. I enjoyed the flow and very calm conditions in the water. It felt so good and soothing for my soul. These kayaking trips have become now like dates with myself.

Suddenly I saw a little something floating in the water. I approached very slowly and it was obvious there was a turtle there… Continue reading

Roadmap from chaos to paradise!

What does it mean when there is a lot of chaos happening?

Over the years working with new time energies I have noticed that when we are moving to higher altitudes or new levels there will be created chaos. Unexpected things may happen and at times it feels so crazy that you can not really understand with your mind what is going on. Continue reading

All the love you are looking for lies in YOU!

crystalstretchpalmI have had some real intense experiences during these last 2 months. Today while walking home listened to a song which had that message in the title: ALL THE LOVE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR LIES IN YOU! It was a good reminder to me and I guess to everyone to never forget that! We are all so occupied to find love outside of ourselves that we very often forget to find it in ourselves. It gets us nowhere, as in the end we are going to have only ourselves anyway. I am so grateful for everyone who have been part of this journey to get me that far deep in ME. It has been a very deep and salty dive. I thought I have seen the rock bottom, but this was even deeper… Continue reading

Making love to the unknown

lovejungleSo here I am in west Mexico. It is my 8th month in Mexico this year and I am still here and happy. How come? I will tell you some little pieces of my journey and also how I now instead of kissing the unknown, make love to the unknown. This is another level of living – this is living from the heart. Another day in Paradise – counting my blessings

I ordered a sunny weather. Here it was. Maybe overdid it? 45 C?

I ordered a sunny weather. Here it was. Maybe overdid it? 45 C?

Today I started my journey around 8.20. I walked through the jungle and got to the main plaza in Sayulita in no time. Somehow the road seems shorter and shorter every time. This walk is so magical. I love the greenness of it so much. It is like living food by the side of the road for me. I counted my blessing number one – JUNGLE WALK. Continue reading

The latest news

MEx groupinsidecaveIn the beginning of October I had the honour to host 4 Estonians and be their adventure guide in La Cruz, Banderas Bay and Sayulita, west Mexico. It was a full 4 days full of adventures, magic and challenges. I would love to make a little summary of this soon. So stay tuned.

After that I started to prepare for the volunteer work with Organic StretchingTM and in the end I got 5 volunteers and my days got filled with it as well with StretchDance in the Sea in La Cruz (6 classes all together per MEX anuliisOSweek). I keep a journal and it is really  exciting to see where things go and how it develops.

Now the new move is ahead of me to Sayulita, the surfer’s paradise in Mexico. After that I am kissing the unknown again… and loads in between. Sayulita is called the ‘magic town’ so I am ready for the magic for sure!

The kindness and flow continues and I am stepping more into my own heart and flow from there.

StretchDanced the Storm away!

docutrailerpalmtreeEvery time I go to the class I think maybe I should prepare more. Then the voice in me tells – no. You can just go and improvise and take contact with the group energy and enjoy the flow. It will turn out like LILA – the divine dance of the micro and macro cosmos inside and outside of you. Most amazing is that it does! Every single time!

Yesterday evening I got the message that the tropical storm is heading towards us and probably it is going to be be like 3 days of really bad weather. I had planned to have my StretcDance in the Sea class in the morning. So I tuned in to the storm energy and said, if it would love to express itself, could it come up like around midday not earlier? With that in mind I went to sleep.

vabasukeldumineI woke up and it was really rainy. I went to check it and it was all cloudy but not much of a wind. So I decided to go. I tuned in to the ocean and asked it to deliver a warm current to the spot where we usually have our class. So I got to the beach and wondered if there is someone else brave showing up and yes, one of the mermaids was. She was fully prepared with the equipment.

We said our usual aloha to the ocean and then our toes touched the water and it was really warm. Outside temperature must have been around 25 C, inside it was around 35 C for sure. Wow. What a surprise. So the magic had worked!

We got in and put our snorkels and masks on and saw the bottom. Wow the water was clear! During the first exercises I observed one bigger fish, who was actually checking his breakfast but i guess we were too big to bite. In between the waves were coming in and I was swimming in the clouds. It was a very mystical and mysterious feeling.

Throughout the class one movement after the other presented itself and we got more and more relaxed went deeper and in between it was almost hard to speak as we got so relaxed that it felt like the left side of the brain was turned off completely.

Doing the classes or courses outside in the nature is the most amazing classroom one could imagine. The outer reflects the inner. Today we could hear the symphony of the raindrops getting into the water and also some birds flying and the ocean and the water was very warm and felt almost like an embracing mother. Everything was so humble and it literally felt like the ocean and the nature were bowing down to us and to our dance. There was something magical in the water and in the air. Unusual. Not describable.

We got out exactly one hour later and it was much colder outside than inside, usually it is the other ways.

Then my wonderful human mermaid said something to finish up as we were expressing gratitude to each other in this playful classroom. She said that when she travels away she can still do the moves and it can remind her of me. I thanked her of being the brave mermaid coming out to play as it is always nicer to play together with someone than just alone.

The storm did not reach to our location today and in the news it said during the night it had ‘dissipated.’ One should not think one can order weather, but what if we could? What would happen then?

Tell me about some of your ocean experiences. What is it you love about this ocean university, what has it taught you?

Bicycle adventure in Mexico

BB1jungleToday, after I had worked online for several hours, I felt my body was ready for a new adventure. I got some directions how to explore more of my neighbourhood. So off I went around 5.30 pm. The weather was not too bad. What I mean by that is that it was not too hot. It was actually cloudy and really ok temperature. September is the hottest month over here, so usually it is around 45C  every day during the daytime.

The first part of the road was like in the jungle movie. Big trees, overgrown on the sides, and then this long green grass on both sides. The first stretch was without any pavement, later on it was paved, so I could enjoy my bicycle ride.

BB4junglehousesJust after maybe 1 km I got to the first houses of Nuevo Vallarta, where the big hotels have been recently built one after the other snaking by the ocean side. One hotel is bigger than the other. The road was wide and very well done, so for the bicycle, it was a paradise. It seemed to become happier and happier as the time went buy. My eyes were enjoying these views of these beautiful houses by the road, hotels and loads of palm trees, alleys and all kind of other exotic trees. It is so lush and green right now as we have been having rain almost every night. In addition some thunderstorms and lightning.

BB2bicycleThe road was continuing for a long long time. So I did something what I did a lot when I was a kid. I just picked one road and wanted to see where it went. So I just followed it until I could not go any more. As it was a little village it was not a problem, because all the roads ended somewhere. But this one continued long. I think it must have been around 45 minutes later I was in the very end of it, as I could not go further.

BB9mayanpyramidAs the prize for my long drive I saw this little Mayan temple and the pyramid. On the side of it I saw many banana trees with their bananas on. I remember some of my first times in Hawaii, when I discovered how bananas grow and also how the whole ‘big plant (because it is actually not a banana tree)’ will be cut down as the bananas are ripe. So I even did some videos of these to archive the precious moments of meeting the bananas. You see, as a person from Estonia, it is a very precious moment indeed.

BB13plumeriasThen I turned back and even found one or two trees with plumerias. In a way it was a bit sad to see all these big hotels and developments. Nothing seemed to be done in cooperation with the nature. Of course I do not know all the details, but it seemed so. What about small cute Mexican style clay houses? Or ecohotels? I guess over here the thought goes where the masses go. I hope it will change one day.

BB7palmsLater I got to another road, which I also wanted to check where it goes, but they had guards there and seemed it was more closed. So I turned around. On one of the corners there were some local Mexicans and they were all waving to me after I shouted HOLA and one of them even said out loud:

‘Hey pretty lady!’

I must have missed one of the turns as I looked at the houses and these looked very strange. So I thought, it is not so far, so I can just bicycle back by the side of the road.

BB18bigroadThat is where the ‘real adventure started.’ I guess maybe my masculine side got a bit tired of me just having this long slow stroll with the bike, which felt like driving a Mercedes, so comfortable. So I get to the main cross and the traffic lights are difficult to understand. there is no clear understanding which light is meant for who. So I tried to figure out and of course started to move exactly where it turned for red for me. Luckily I could stop (in the middle of the road) and get going when all of the cars had passed.

So I got to the main road and thought there must be some kind of side shoulder or side road. I tried to cross the main highway (both ways 2 lanes) and that was a challenge. It must have taken me around 13 minutes or so to get to the other side as the traffic was very heavy.

So I got to the other side and even if the shoulder is like 4-5 meters wide and you even have the strong yellow line strongly painted close  to the edge, so that the cars should see it clear, there were many cars which passed me so close that I swallowed hard.

So I tried to get as close to the side of the pavement as I could. As it is a total anomaly sight over here to see a white girl driving a bike with very short shorts as well, I got lots of cheering up from most of the cars. Would never happen in Estonia.

Then the next thing came up. One of those side roads which looked nicer and quieter were full of hidden dogs on the side. So they could jump into your bike any moment and then ‘take a little bite ‘ of your leg… I had 2 wild dogs like that coming towards me. Then I stopped so suddenly they got shocked and then I shouted at them some really rude words in Estonian and they were totally shocked and ran back. Works every time. Wow.

So in between I was not sure if I was going in the right direction. I checked some of the buses and they had the sign to Bucerias, so I knew I was on a right track. Then I could see some of the familiar buildings – Wallmart, soon came Mega. I was surprised that there were not so many cars out there, but as it is a national independence day today here in Mexico, everyone is celebrating at home I guess. So I wonder if it would have been more cars as usual would I have been run over then?

In the end I just got so into the zone of that danger (my hands even shaking in between) that I almost passed my turn. I happily got to my side of the road and cruised into the community feeling like I had passed some kind of Mexican test or something. Feeling proud of myself.

Then I thought to make a little bicycle round in the community, but first thought to check on the new neighbours – a female couple. They were home, kindly offering me their amazing salads and we were talking stories about ourselves, Mexico and life. It was so nice. We were just so on the same page. They showed me their backyard and the development project which was going on there. That looked really good. They are a Canadian couple who are here in Mexico for good. I admire people like that, who just come and change like that! We also shared some fun stories about Mexican time!

I must have spent more than an hour there. I got home, had a nice cold outdoor shower, fed the cat, who was so happy that took off right after. I myself had another additional bite to sit down and write this.

It just works for me to adventure a little bit every day. Find new places and give my body some new possibilities to move and discover new ways.

This morning I did Organic StretchingTM and the topic for today was ‘multidirectional movement’ and I had a nice session on the floor. I guess what happened was that I also got that ‘multidirectional’ into my bicycle trip. I got back home safe and was totally multidirectional.

Now the body is tired and feels like I would love to go to bed early tonight. Early for me is like midnight (usually go to bed around 3 am). I even thought of starting to have these morning bike rides every day. I will see what the body says in the morning for this. As during the day it gets so hot, it is impossible to move.

The body was happy, the mind was happy and the elements were in total balance and also got some social input, which I have had quite a lot this week. During the last 3 days I have adventured every day – Friday the PV trailer filming. Saturday the eco community visit and today the bike. I have also discovered I am most effective when I have some adventures and then work again. Too much of the same does not really work for me. I am happy to get it confirmed over and over again.

Tell me about you and your adventures?

When was the last time you adventured?

Do you have your weekly, daily small adventures?

Would you love to adventure with me one day?

StretchDanced myself and others into new Universes within a month!

In the end of July of 201SDfocaltext3 when I had gone to the ocean almost a month every day of the month as the ocean was also so warm (35 C), the ocean started to converse with me and I got a message to start a StretchDance in the Sea class. My mind of course came out with thousands of reasons why I can not. So one by one I walked it through and got a flier or two together, posted it to most places around the area and told everyone I knew.

Everyone who came, knew me personally. So not much to do with social media here if you are not really known it seems. So you have to be the invitation to people organically.

Lila was the first one to show up on the first class. She kept showing up as lots of interesting stuff kept happening to her one time after the other after the sessions in the ocean. So cool I thought.

There were classes where the only person showing up was ME. It did not make me feel bad, as it would have been back home. Now I took it as a chance to just play with me, discover new moves and just get more ‘flesh on the bones’ for the next class. That was a huge shift in the whole energy.

mermaid pondMore people showed up one by one and I loved it more and more, including more and more elements from all the water years since 2009 when I started to have fun with people in the water. You see, I can not really call it as ‘work’ because it is too much fun. ‘Work’ usually means something you hate. I love it!!!

I travelled here 1 month before I started to do the StretchDance and I participated in the Organic Stretching TM Teacher’s training.  After some weeks, I started to do stretches in the warm ocean water. It was amazing as when I also used a mask and a snorkel I was free to turn around and do movements I would never been able to on land.

It must have looked really funny from the shore. Looking for someone who plays with her toes. But I did not care. It was my playtime and all I cared was the play and exploration.

picasadiveplainalohaI got  in to the most impossible positions – which may have looked like a baby who got herself into knots and did not know how to get out of it again. I also discovered the fun of stretching out (as most yoga styles do) and stretching inwards (what Organic StretchingTM focuses on a lot). My body became happier and happier as it could finally move the way it never could before. It was like a child let loose in the sand box and was going crazy, as there was so much sand and so many possibilities to make the cakes out of it!

So what do we do in the class?

First we say hello to the ocean and ask for the protection during the session and enter it. Sometimes we also talk to the molecules to be the contribution to heal the pollution in the world’s pollution.

We ask the inner ocean to embrace the outer. And we start to say hello to our bodies, minds and spirits through different moves, which I firstly guide, but then let everyone explore what and where is their body willing to go. I have no limits, so whatever idea comes, I will support it and explore it to the core, as does the group.

We sometimes do sounds and sometimes through the snorkel. It looks very funny having some adults in the water facing down and mumbling something into their snorkels.

I incorporated everything I have ever learned or picked up from somewhere about the water sessions, body work and mind work and energy healing. In the end we did some work on the joints in the group and also more relaxing stuff also as a couple working in the water.

We can contribute so much to each other this way. Every time some new fun movements were like crawling out of my body as some small creatures coming out to play.

I also felt that finally I was just doing something of my very own and did not have to think of the fact of doing something wrong as the ‘modality’ says or the ‘teacher’ does. I could freely explore and all of it was a value for me and others. How cool?

It felt like I was the sponge which had sucked in all the knowledge over the years and lifetimes and was all flowing out of me now one drop at the time.

Throughout this month I had more magic pulled into my life  one by one – the inner masculine provided me with every tiny detail to make my life and flow simple with my projects, bringing to me new people and new ideas, new possibilities, providing me with 2 beautiful homes to work from and supporting my focus on working on the different online stuff.

It was really amazing. My body felt happier and happier, more relaxed, I must have lost more weight  and my bikini shape is all back again! All with no effort! I have even built some muscle structure I did not have before! My skin looks nice and smooth like a dolphin skin. I hardly had a day being crumpy again. As soon as I got it I knew, it is time to go to the ocean and do my dance again.

So it is not all about how much you move or even how you move, but how smart you move and how much do you listen to your body and how present are you in your body! I love the ease in it as I got so tired of working out pushing myself to the limit and not enjoying it at all.

In the later classes we incorporated the mask and snorkel into the classes. With the mask you can do turns which you would not without and with the snorkel you can breath in some extra air, which will create more alkaline body inside out, which means you relax more. When you relax more, you can receive more. The moves and stretches can go very deep when you do not have to worry about the water getting into your nose or mouth.

This month I truly became a mermaid. After one of the classes I had this spooky experience. I walked out of the water and it literally felt like I moved from my mermaid tale to the legs. Like the moment my legs touched the ground, it felt like it turned into two legs. I truly believe into the ‘swimming ape’ theory, that all of us actually are water creatures. We have just forgotten it. StretchDance in the Sea has awakened my inner mermaid and not only, also my inner and outer fairy tales!

This class explored also the newer ways to facilitate knowledge, where every person is their own guru, and the main facilitator is just the guide in the space, holding space. All the outer circumstances – like Mexico as a location, which should be the platform for the crystal and golden energy as well as the warm ocean water (usually around +35 C) and the sun and the warmth in general  as well quite gentle ocean conditions (protected bay in the Banderas bay) all contributed to the amazing dance outside and inside of us which could create some more magic.

Our bodies were finally turning into symphonies where the inner magic strings were played in harmony.

Every time the faces looked wider and happier after the class. I felt so good. So what I basically did – I just held space and created some guidelines what to do. Everyone got so many different ways to look at themselves or their lives anew and create it as they would like.

One of the times one of the participants had her dog getting a surgery back home while we were doing the class. Out of nowhere we had this amazing dog coming and playing with us and also being very protective, when we disappeared into our snorkels, he came to check on us. So we sent some healing energy to her dog having an operation.

After the class was finished, which took usually an hour, I felt deep peace, relaxation and total presence. My whole body was soft. There was 0 stress. My life was flowing again. Tensions were gone from my body and my vocabulary.

mermaidsstretchingLila Osborne, the first amazing participant in the class is a remarkable woman and her name is an important message, coming to my life for a year now. (Check out her blog by clicking on her name).

First of February in 2012 me and Katrin Haiba (another amazing Estonian lady, who lives in NYC) – we had a nice sea goddess ritual in the very same ocean spot where I have classes now.

We were living on Katrin’s boat for some time – called LILA, which in sanskrit means ‘Within non-dualism, Lila is a way of describing all reality, including the cosmos, as the outcome of creative play by the divine absolute (Brahman).’

Lila, the boat, was previously owned by Pat Henry – a brave woman who circumnavigated the world alone with the very same boat and whom I got to know through her book ‘By the Grace of the Sea’ and her ‘Organic Stretching’TM classes and through Katrin’s connections. Almost 1,5 years later I came to participate in the Organic Stretching TM Teacher’s Training and start my new playful journey to the Mother Ocean and myself.

I have been wanting to create my own modality and have had loads of ideas, but this has been really beyond my imagination – the outcome of creative play by the divine absolute indeed. The modality which is a system without a system where everyone is on their way HOME to themselves if they have lost the way.

This I feel is just the beginning. I am so grateful to Katrin Haiba for inviting me here last year. I travelled from Hawaii and was not really willing to receive this location so well ( I missed Hawaii,BI a lot). Now I travelled from Estonia and it was a complete opposite. I was ready to receive everything. And I have and more to come! I am also super grateful for all the mermaids who came to the classes and everyone who helped me walk on land like an angel supporting and providing some magic every step of the way! Mahalo and Gracias!

Is Monogamy Outdated?

picasatimeforchange2I wrote couple of articles about the free love some years ago in the Estonian media, as well as about tantra, but these did not get much of a feedback then.

Anthropologists’ target should be to focus on topics which are relevant in the society, and as soon as I saw this article, I thought it is time again to talk about this topic in public.

The story is up in The Independent (18th of August, 2013) ‘Monogamy is outdated, according to controversial BBC investigation’. Read it before you read my comment to it.

My comments about the story

picasahandsontree plain

In 2008 I visited Zegg eco village, where they practise free love and polygamous relations in East Germany.

In this village they have a ‘love house’ and they have ‘flirting parties’ there. In that house they have different rooms, where people can do what their spirits and bodies would love to do.  The main target for the village has been to unite the spirituality and sexuality. Whether they have accomplished that or not I would let others to decide.

As I have studied anthropology,  we had to read loads of stories in our curriculum about the cultural examples about different cultures and some of it was also about polygamy, where this is more of a practical key how to make the everyday life work sustainably.

For example in Tibet, where most of the men are out in the mountains with the cattle part of the time. In some of the villages they have agreements, where men are divided and some of them are up in the mountains and the others take care of the women and children in the village. One woman may have two or three men. When the child is born, it is not important, who is the father of the child as they will take care of all the children equally.

When I started to discover this topic on my own,  I got loads of judgments from other people (most of them were in conventional relationships and judged me exploring it as being a hooker). During this journey I got into total conflict with myself till I travelled to Hawaii to visit a local healer.

He saw this as  actually part of my bigger mission – to activate people like that – to be in relation with many several people at the same time while being in the flow. One after the other I noticed the pattern. I got to know a new man, we started dating. After some short period of time we had to break up and right after that they found their perfect long term partner. It happened over and over again.

My question to him was: ‘Why is it so

difficult for me to find one long term partner?’

He asked me: ‘Do you need him this way?

Maybe you are a natural poly person?’

picasa inner queen and king

On top of that I discovered I am bisexual as well. So I tried to put together all the different parts. I had the possibility to live together with an amazing man and a woman for one month in Hawaii. This was the most functional and happy time in my life. We had a total trust, care and honesty.  The practical life was much easier and nicer, because we had a total team work and cooperation happening at all times.

The key for this cohabitation was this: we had very similar world views, we were all very conscious and sexually healthy and emotionally balanced people. We knew it would be just this one month, but I did not experience any jealousy at that time, drama or cheating at all.

Jealousy has roots in the uncertainty and self value. If one is certain in him or herself and the self value is in place, there is no possibility for jealousy. This is just my viewpoint.

This experience encouraged me, that this is not only utopia, but a real possible reality, if  I choose so. I think myself that it is very natural to be both with the woman as the man as it may balance the woman nicely. It may not be suitable for everyone, but it is a possible choice.

greenlightallowgreenlighttouch

During my world travel I have actually met many of these very opened and expansive couples and people. It was a relief to know that there is nothing wrong with me and there are more of us out there in the world. We are looking for each other, maybe one day to create communities where we could live and co-habitat together. No this is not just hippie time coming back again. It is a conscious choice and creation.

Then I thought that maybe the idea of going deeply into a relation shift with one person is just an utopia as I have imagined, or some kind of implant which has been put into us by religions and systems or is it something else?

One is for sure, the utopia of monogamy (the old version, where you can not be with others sexually) keeps many people in boxes and frames. But may work for some.

Take for example honesty. Watch some soap operas and bring in some real honesty. The whole idea of a soap opera disappears. Drama disappears. When two people who are in the relationship fall in love into an external person, it does not mean, that you should leave one and hide the other one. Where have we got with this hiding?

I loved how they handled this topic in the movie ‘The Great Gatsby’. Everyone cheated on everyone, basically publicly and when they all got to the point to act according to the heart, it was all about the drama and the ownership waves hit over the head, which created even more drama.

My vision and sense is that monogamy may disappear even faster than 10 years. We expand in our spirit and body faster than we could think. In this expansion, we start to live a life without fear, where we do not have rules, have only the agreements and an opened communication. People could use the 4 V system, which would build a foundation to the sustainable harmony and balance on all levels in our life. (If you would love to get this system, register your name to the list on my news list on my webpage’s first page).

Everyone will of course choose which kind of relationship suits them. It is important to be tolerant. If someone chooses something conventional and it makes them happy, then why not and if not, let them be in peace and live their life too?

The biggest key to change the world is actually ECSTASY AND HAPPINESS. How we get there, it is up to the choices. If these choices are done in consciousness, balance and honesty towards yourself and others, done with care, from your heart, it can be the main key to create the butterfly effect and activate it in the whole world.

winnieMaybe it is about time, where we have to become Winnie Poohs in our relation shifts as well, where we would not choose this or that, but choose both!
